As a well-established Company, MMT is engaged in many different projects ranging from exploration, mining, buying and selling of precious minerals.

 

  • In 2018 MMT acquired an exploration license for the purpose of exploring and eventual economic exploitation of gold and diamonds in Kailahun district. The license covers an approximate area of 85.84 sq.km and is situated in the Soa and Penguia chiefdoms respectively, in Kono and Kailahun District of the Eastern Province of the Republic of Sierra Leone.

 

  • MMT was also granted a mining concession in 2018 known as the “Kono Concession” for a period of four (4) years. This covers an approximate area of 80.05 sq.km and is situated in the Kamara, Gbense and Nimikoro chiefdoms respectively in Kono District of the Eastern Province of the Republic of Sierra Leone.

 

  • MMT also has an exploration project for alluvial Coltan, gold and diamonds in the Yengema –Kongobadu area covering about 169.73 sq. kilometres.

The company as at the moment boasts of the first Coltan mining license in Sierra Leone. The total package of mineral concession is approximately more than 300 sq km. Our operations stretch to the northern part of Koinadugu, Kono and Kailahun Districts. Most of our mineral concessions falls within the Archean Greenstone Belt
